July 2007: San Diego Comic Con. I'm not a very prolific or even very good picture-taker and this will show why. Walking around the San Diego convention, there's so much to take pictures of that you'll burn your camera out in less than 11 minutes if you try to snap everything. Instead, I just let someone better than me take the pictures and you can probably Google that stuff and see it for yourself. So I just take pictures of whatever interests me which, in this instance, for some reason, seems to be Brian.
Brian:
Joshua Dysart, Brian. Josh writes comics and stuff:
Brian, Max, Sam:
This would have been a picture of a group of about a dozen people who had dressed up as characters from the Batman family (and actually put a lot of care into their costumes) but I wasn't about to jump in to be part of the throng snapping pictures. So instead I took a picture of the people taking pictures. And here you can get a glimpse of the immensity that is the San Diego Convention Center during Comic Con (though this is about 0.00000000000000001% of that immensity):
Brian:
Blade, Bishop. I liked these costumes and no one else was taking a picture of them (though it was at the DC booth):
What gets into your head to wear a costume like this out in public? Though I wouldn't mess with these guys:
We went to dinner at the Corvette Diner and the waitress was taking pictures of/with some tourists at the table next to us so I asked them to take a picture with my camera. At the table behind them you'll see part of me and Brian along with the chick that Brian should have been picking up who we brought along and I forgot her name:
The waitress. Of course I forgot her name:
I went to lunch with Lance (the bald dude) and some of his friends, one of which I remember is Ron (the thumbs-up guy) but I forgot the rest of their names. There was also a few pictures of the hot waitress but I'm not posting those:
A guy set up a few blocks away from the con selling stuff. Yeah, it's during Comic Con and it's a nerd-joke but I thought it was funny:
